nsidr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the nsidr mobile application, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name from Google Sign-In. We use this solely to identify your account.
• Usage data — We store your followed stocks and insiders in Firebase to personalize your feed and deliver relevant push notifications.
• Device token — We save your FCM push notification token to send you alerts when followed insiders make new trades.
• Advertising data — We use Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To display your personalized insider and stock watchlists
• To send push notifications about new insider trades on securities you follow
• To display relevant advertisements through Google AdMob

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as follows:

• Google Firebase — for authentication, database storage, and push notifications
• Google AdMob — for advertising services
• Finnhub — we query Finnhub's public API to retrieve insider trading data; no user data is transmitted to Finnhub

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

5. Children's Privacy

nsidr is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

We use Firebase's industry-standard security measures and Firebase Security Rules to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also revoke Google Sign-In access at any time through your Google account settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
